On the occasion of the bicentennial of relations between France and Mexico, the exhibition The French Touch, presented by Interimages and C3 Art Gallery as part of La Parisienne, takes place within a broader celebration of cultural and artistic exchanges between the two countries.
Bringing together contemporary French artists Guy-Pierre Tur, André Jacques Bodin, and Sébastien Aurillon, alongside Mexican artist Guadalupe Romero Vargas, the exhibition offers a reflection on the various ways of perceiving, representing, and transforming reality.
Through singular approaches, the artists explore a shared territory situated between the visible and the invisible. Guy-Pierre Tur develops a body of work centered on human nature, nourished by his practice of psychotherapy, where art becomes a space for transformation and pacification.
André Jacques Bodin operates within a hyperrealist approach that ultimately transcends itself by questioning the mechanisms of perception; the extreme precision of detail engages in dialogue with areas of dissolution, inviting a visual experience that is both sensitive and unstable.
Sébastien Aurillon grounds his practice in a research-driven engagement with astrology and symbolic systems, where color and line become vectors of a structured energy, opening the image to both a visual and an introspective reading.
For her part, Guadalupe Romero Vargas explores the potential of glass and the role of light as a revealing element, situating her work within a continuum between cultural memory and sensory experience, extended here through a collaboration with a French artist.
Through the diversity of these practices, The French Touch proposes a space of resonance in which art becomes a shared language, revealing the sensitive and contemporary ties that continue to connect France and Mexico today. Curated by

Con motivo del bicentenario de las relaciones entre Francia y México, la exposición “The French Touch”, presentada por Interimages y C3 Art Gallery en el marco de La Parisienne, se inscribe en una celebración de los intercambios culturales y artísticos entre ambos territorios.
Reuniendo a artistas contemporáneos franceses, Guy-Pierre Tur, André Jacques Bodin, Sébastien Aurillon, junto a la artista mexicana Guadalupe Romero Vargas, esta exposición propone una reflexión en torno a las distintas maneras de percibir, representar y transformar lo real.
A través de enfoques singulares, los artistas exploran un territorio común situado entre lo visible y lo invisible. Guy-Pierre Tur desarrolla una obra centrada en la naturaleza humana, nutrida por su práctica de la psicoterapia, donde el arte se convierte en un espacio de transformación y pacificación.
André Jacques Bodin se inscribe en una aproximación hiperrealista que trasciende al cuestionar los mecanismos de la percepción, la extrema precisión del detalle dialoga con zonas de disolución, invitando a una experiencia visual sensible e inestable.
Sébastien Aurillon inscribe su práctica en una investigación en torno a la astrología y los sistemas simbólicos, donde el color y el trazo se convierten en vectores de una energía estructurada, abriendo la imagen a una lectura tanto visual como interior.
Guadalupe Romero Vargas explora por su parte las potencialidades del vidrio y el papel de la luz como elemento revelador, inscribiendo su trabajo en una continuidad entre memoria cultural y experiencia sensible, prolongada aquí mediante una colaboración con un artista francés.
A través de la diversidad de estas prácticas, The French Touch propone un espacio de resonancia donde el arte se convierte en un lenguaje común, revelando los vínculos sensibles y contemporáneos que siguen uniendo hoy a Francia y México.
