The Arts provides us with inspiration and motivation, solace and comfort, camaraderie and connection. We all turn to books, movies, music, dance, and imagery, when we want to relax, be entertained or try to express ourselves.
Art is in our DNA. From prehistoric times, people have drawn pictures, danced, sung songs and told stories around the fire. The arts promote creativity which provides the answer to our challenges and drives innovation. Art has always been and will always be essential. It is imperative that we support the arts.
G&S Arts Journal Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, born from the original Gallery&Studio Magazine, run by Jeannie and Ed McCormack from 1997 to 2016. Incorporated in the state of New York in 2015 and operating in New York City, G&S Arts Journal, Inc. is run as Gallery&Studio.
The print issues are distributed in March, June, September and December of each year.
