“It’s some of my pandemic art – a kind of remembering, as I think many of us are doing – a remembering of better times and needing to hold onto those memories as we try to survive this moment of the new reality we must accept and adapt to.

I feel how strange and difficult it is to accomplish anything even though I have so much time here on Canal Street. Just the cats and me and unfinished art and boxes of stuff to go through that I call my archives.”
