I started writing for Gallery & Studio magazine not as an artist or actor, but as a journalist who is curious about all things. I knew little about the art world, so I let my intuition carry me.
What I discovered were stories that basically wrote themselves: a twenty-something year old painting passerby’s on the subway; a second-wave graffiti “writer” teaching his craft to underprivileged communities. They were organically interesting and of importance for young people, such as myself, looking to explore their passions.
Gallery & Studio magazine is the place to go if you’re looking for passion. For me, it added an extra dimension to my creativity.
