Tarsitano’s recent work is his perspective of the world revealed through a series of varied, at times random, subjects. Figurative images are used to symbolically convey his point of view, exploring inner, interpersonal and societal perspectives. In some cases, his work’s title serves more as a narrative, providing greater insight into these perspectives. The medium of sumi ink on paper presents a simplified black and white palette, producing blunt graphic imagery in an almost Rorschach-like form of communication.
