Linda Ganus Albulescu is active as a visual artist in the Lehigh Valley and New York metro areas. She has received numerous awards for her work and exhibited widely in solo and group shows over the past several decades. She earned her Master’s in Fine Art from Vermont College of Fine Arts, her MA in History from Lehigh University, and her Bachelor’s of Music Performance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Lehigh University. She studied painting and drawing at the New York Studio School with Graham Nickson, and anatomical drawing at the New York Academy of Art. An Adjunct Professor at Lehigh University, she currently lives in Easton, PA with her family and is a member of Pictor Gallery in New York City.
In this group of symbolist landscapes, the artist explores the ways in which different color notes can act as chromatic keys to unlock memories and stimulate emotions. The clouds are more than just manifestations of the physical world we inhabit, moving forms in space made of vapor and air; they can also represent particular interior narratives, states of mind, and intangible music that the viewer may experience. – Linda Ganus Albulescu
