Repurposed Toredo Sitka Spruce , 39”
|After High School I attended Queensborough Community College where I discovered Theater and where I became a part of the technical crew building sets and props. After two years I transferred to Queens College where not only did I pursue my Theater degree but I found my passion in Fine Art. I fell in love with ceramics and every chance I got I worked in the ceramic studio.
I studied at the New School in NYC with the stone sculptor Phillip Pavia. Over the next few years I would learn about working in Marble and more importantly I would discover a whole new world of materials and tools .
In 1975 , I set up my own little studio in a basement space in Greenwich Village. At present I still maintain that studio. I work in a number of different mediums but Stone and Wood are my passions.
My works have been exhibited in galleries and can be found in private collections .
